The CA-50 is designed for use in conjunction with the CAS-3000 fingerprint reader as an economical single-door access control solution. This controller is specifically designed for situations where only the basic requirements of access control are required.
The CA-50 has two inputs and four outputs allowing for connectivity as follows:

• Input 1 - Door Contact
• Input 2 - Request To Exit Input
• Output 1 - Alarm Bypass Relay
• Output 2 - Door Held Relay
• Output 3 - Door Forced Relay
• Output 4 - Door Lock Relay<

The CA-50 has an RS232 serial port, which allows it to communicate with a CAS-2000 fingerprint reader. Through its serial protocol, the reader can trigger the door lock output on the controller. The CA-50 can be used for unattended operations allowing it to accept an RTE input and trigger the Door Forced output or the Door Held output without reader interaction.
The CA-50 operates on the industry standard 12VDC drawing less than 150ma. This allows for it to be powered by the standard power supplies of access control systems.
